The recent official Dungeons & Dragons compilation, Candlekeep Mysteries, is set in approximately 1492 DR, roughly three years after the events of the previous campaign Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden. There were an additional five days that fell between months, bringing the total number of days in most years to 365.
It was split into twelve months, each lasting three tendays (or thirty days). It was created by the wizard Harptos of Kaalinth, although most people associate the word “Harptos” with the calendar. How does the calendar work in the Forgotten Realms? but it is guaranteed that all other adventures after that are after 1489. pretty much all adventures from the next playtest were during that year. The 5th edition starts in toril at the year 1489. Princes of the Apocalypse is 1491 DR and it came out in 2015. If the whole live timeline campaign thing is still true, the current Forgotten Realms year is 1495 DR.
